What is this plant? The dark red clump is easy to recognise
Glossy, lobed leaves and red flower stems quickly reveal the plant. The difficulty is not the genus, but whether a single September photograph can take us beyond heuchera.

The plant is heuchera, Heuchera. It is recognisable by its dense clump, rounded, lobed leaves in dark purplish brown, and thin red stems carrying small flower remains or seed capsules.
This type is grown mainly for its foliage colour. Many named cultivars look very similar, so a single photograph rarely gives a reliable cultivar name even when the plant group is clear.
As the photograph was taken in September in Sweden, it is normal for the foliage still to look attractive while flowering has finished or is nearly over. To compare further, observe the precise leaf colour in spring and early summer next season, along with flower colour and stem height.
